What it’s about. Auf der sonst so idyllischen Insel Hawaii wird eines Tages ein ganz besonders gefährliches und blutrünstiges Tier entdeckt: eine Mischung aus einer Anaconda und einem Piranha. Die Wissenschaftler titulieren das Tier kurzerhand Piranhaconda und stellen dann fest, dass es offenbar vor kurzem erst Eier gelegt hat. Der gierige Professor Lovegrove sieht seine Chance gekommen, einen Piranhaconda in Gefangenschaft aufzuziehen und alle Stadien des Wachstums aus erster Hand mitzuerleben, was ihm unter Forschern große Anerkennung bringen würde. Also stiehlt er eines der Eier aus dem Nest des Monstrums, das den Diebstahl aber sofort bemerkt. Wütend macht sich das Ungetüm auf die Suche nach dem verlorenen Ei und greift dabei alles und jeden an, der sich ihm den Weg stellt.
