What it’s about. Der junge buddhistische Mönch Arnont (Mario Maurer) zweifelt an seinem Glauben, seit er mitansehen musste, wie der stadtbekannte Gangster Singh Kam (Dom Heatrakul) für ein Verbrechen geköpft wurde, das er möglicherweise gar nicht begangen hat. Er soll aus Neid und Eifersucht den wohlhabenden Kriegsherrn Larh-Fah (Ananda Everingham) getötet haben. Viele gehen auch davon aus, dass Kam eine Affäre mit Larh-Fahs Frau Kham-Kaew (Chermarn Boonyasak) hatte. Arnont wird als Zeuge zur Gerichtsverhandlung vorgeladen. Dabei ist er nicht der einzige: Ein Bauer (Petchtai Wongkamlao) und ein Bettler (Pongpat Wachirabunjong) haben das Verbrechen ebenfalls mit eigenen Augen gesehen. Während eines Sturms suchen die Drei Schutz in einer Höhle und erzählen sich gegenseitig, wie sie den Mord miterlebt haben.
