What it’s about. Ehefrau und Mutter Terri führt den Haushalt ihres malerischen Vorstadthauses in Atlanta, Georgia und umsorgt ihre zwei Kinder. Eines Tages klopft der charmante Colin an ihrer Tür. Er habe eine Autopanne und müsse nur kurz telefonieren. Trotz allen Argwohns lässt die freundliche Terri ihn gewähren, denn sie ahnt nicht, dass Colin gerade erst aus dem Gefängnis geflohen und unheimlich gefährlich ist. Terri und ihre Kinder sind nun gefangen im eigenen Heim und scheinen dem teuflischen Eindringling hilflos ausgeliefert. Der einzige Weg zur Rettung scheint, das Schicksal in die eigene Hand zu nehmen und jede Chance zu nutzen, der tödlichen Situation zu entfliehen.
