What it’s about. In dem idyllischen Städtchen Willowpoint Falls treibt seit Jahren ein grausamer Kindermörder sein Unwesen. Als der kleine Frankie bei einem Streich in der Schule eingesperrt wird, sieht er die geisterhafte Erscheinung eines Mädchens, das von einem Unsichtbaren ermordet und weggetragen wird, wobei der Mann einen Ring verliert. Später kehrt der Mörder tatsächlich zurück, entdeckt Frankie und würgt ihn fast zu Tode. Nachdem es ihm wieder gut geht, hat Frankie öfter die Erscheinung des kleinen Mädchens, den Geist eines der Opfer, der ihn schließlich auf die Spur des Mörders führt.
