Die Hochzeitsreise nach Italien wird jedoch gleich zur Katastrophe. Nach einem Jahr Ehe kommt das erste Kind zur Welt - die Beziehung zwischen Frangipani und Friedrich ist auf einem Tiefpunkt angelangt. Nach einem weiteren Jahr ist das zweite Kind da, aber der Ehe geht es noch schlechter. Friedrich betrügt Frangipani. Am Sterbebett gelingt es Frangipanis Vater, die beiden miteinander zu versöhnen. Doch vorher noch schläft Frangipani mit einem jungen Mann, den sie in einer Disco sieht...
