What it’s about. Weil die Mutter der zehnjährigen Olivia Haden (Ripley Sobo) übers Wochenende auf eine Geschäftsreise muss, soll deren sieben Jahre älterer Bruder Miles (Aaron Sauter) auf das Mädchen aufpassen. Doch eines Nachts, als Olivia nicht schlafen kann und mit dem Familienhund Charlie spazieren geht, wird sie Augenzeugin der Entführung einer jungen Frau. Doch weder ihr Bruder, noch die Polizistin Detective Dottie Wheel (Susan Sarandon) glauben ihr, als sie von ihren Beobachtungen erzählt. Und so bleibt Olivia nichts weiter übrig, als das Verbrechen selbst aufzuklären und alle zu überzeugen, dass sie keine Hirngespinster gesehen hat.
