What it’s about. In den ersten Tests eines revolutionären Kampfanzuges, dem MADOX-01, demütigt die Spitzenpilotin Elle Kusomoto Leutnant Kilgore, Japans größter Panzer-Fanatiker, indem sie dessen angreifende Einheit vernichtet. Kilgore schwört Rache und schon bald bietet ihm ein Prototyp-MADOX, der aus einem Laster fällt, eine Möglichkeit dafür. Währenddessen findet ein weiterer MADOX, welcher von einem LKW in einen anderen LKW fiel, seinen Weg zum College-Studenten Koji Sujimoto. Koji begeht aber einen schwerwiegenden Fehler und albert mit dem MADOX herum, ohne die Bedienungsanleitung durchgelesen zu haben, was dazu führt, dass er nicht mehr aus dem Anzug herauskommt und mit dem Anzug in der Innenstadt Tokios herumwütet.
