What it’s about. Das Fotomodell Monika Stange wird in ihrem Appartement in einer westdeutschen Großstadt ermordet aufgefunden. Die Kriminalisten Bentheim und Laube finden im Appartement versteckte Rohdiamanten. Die Spur führt zu einem Schieberring und dem einflussreichen Industriellen Dr. Vogelsang. Dieser ist unter keinen Umständen bereit, sich in den Mordfall verwickeln zu lassen und verweigert die Aussage. Inspektor Laube versucht den Fall ohne seinen Kollegen zu lösen.
