What it’s about. Fingers ist ein knuddeliger, gut dressierter Affe, der die Passanten auf der Pier in Venice in seinen Bann zieht. Fingers Besitzer Shorty hat ihn allerdings dazu abgerichtet, als Taschendieb Touristen zu bestehlen. Sehr bald tauchen zwei schwere Jungen auf, die Fingers ausleihen wollen, um ein Millionending abzuziehen. Shorty sieht sich schon als reicher Mann. Doch da beschließt Fingers, daß er frei sein will, und büchst aus. Er lernt die kleine Eva kennen, die Probleme mit ihren Eltern hat. Eva verliebt sich auf der Stelle in ihren kuscheligen neuen Freund, aber schnell wird klar, daß Fingers eine Nummer zu groß für sie ist.
