What it’s about. Nachdem er zwölf Jahre im Gefängnis verbracht hat, ist der notorische Safe-Knacker Dom Hemingway zurück in seiner Heimatstadt London. Sofort macht sich Dom zusammen mit seinem einstigen Partner Dickie daran, das Geld aus ihrem bis dato letzten Coup zurückzufordern – die Beute befindet sich aktuell im Besitz von Doms Ex-Boss Mr. Fontaine. Zusätzlich erwartet der frisch entlassene Kriminelle eine Belohnung dafür, zwölf Jahre lang den Mund gehalten und Fontaine nicht verraten zu haben. Die Situation droht zu eskalieren, als der Kleingauner sich auch noch an Fontaines Geliebte Paolina heranmacht.
