What it’s about. Gangsterboss Alexander Coates will sich aus den kriminellen Geschäften zurückziehen. Zwar hat er sich ein beachtliches Imperium aufgebaut, aber zu viel ist schief gegangen in letzter Zeit und er ist müde. Rivale und Erzfeind Ice Man sieht seine Chance gekommen, Coates Geschäfte zu übernehmen. Dazu schreckt er auch vor kaltblütigem Mord nicht zurück. Mit dem Rücken zur Wand bleibt Coates nichts anderes übrig, als seinen einstigen Zögling und Spitzenmann Roman Hurst um Hilfe zu bitten. Dem Auftragskiller hatte Coates einst die Hände verstümmeln lassen, nachdem dieser einen lukrativen Drogendeal vermasselt hatte. Hurst fühlt trotz allem Loyalität für seinen Ex-Boss und will genauso wenig wie der, dass Ice Man übernimmt. So begibt er sich in die fachmännische Obhut von Coates Freund Jimmy Peanuts.
