What it’s about. Übersetzerin Inga Hauck begibt sich gemeinsam mit ihrem sechsjährigen Sohn Max in ihr Heimatdorf, als sie vom Tod ihres Vaters Georg hört. Dort begegnet sie auch Anna Kertesz, die vor 28 Jahren von Ingas Eltern aufgenommen wurde, nachdem ihr älterer Bruder Zoltan plötzlich verschwand. Auch von Ingas damals sechsjährigem Bruder Magnus fehlt seitdem jede Spur. Während viele immer noch überzeugt sind, dass Zoltan den Jungen entführt hat, hat Anna nie an der Unschuld ihres Bruders gezweifelt. Bei einem Spaziergang konfrontiert Anna Inga mit der Vergangenheit, indem sie sie zu einem alten Bauwagen am Rand des Moores führt und in Inga alte Erinnerungen wach werden...
