What it’s about. Nach einem traumatischen Erlebnis im Kosovo hat Lasko (Mathis Landwehr) seinen Dienst als Soldat in der KFOR-Friedenstruppe quittiert und sich als Mönch in ein Kloster zurückgezogen. Aufgrund seiner militärischen Ausbildung, seiner sportlichen Fähigkeiten und seiner ethischen Integrität wird er dort von Matthias (Simon Dutton), einem Agenten des christlichen Geheimordens "Pugnus Die", schon seit längerem beobachtet. Noch ahnt Lasko nicht, dass er bald in vorderster Reihe eines Himmelfahrtkommandos steht. Denn Matthias hat den Auftrag bekommen, einen Pilgerzug nach Lourdes zu beschützen. Doch einige skrupellose Gangster, angeführt von ihrem hünenhaften Boss Lennart (Arnold Vosloo, "Die Mumie"), planen den spektakulären Raub eines Killer-Virus und wollen den Zug für ihre Flucht nutzen.
