What it’s about. Der etwas schrullige Privatdetektiv und Ex-Polizist Brenner wird von seinem alten Bekannten Berti beauftragt, einen Mann namens „Horvath“ ausfindig zu machen. Als er dann in dem verschlafenen Nest angekommen ist, schlägt er im Wirtshaus „Löschenkohl“, welches für seine Backhendl bekannt ist, sein Nachtlager auf. Dort beginnt er nicht nur seine Nachforschungen, sondern auch ein Techtelmechtel mit der dortigen Köchin Gitti. Nur zu dumm, dass diese die Schwiegertochter des Inhabers ist. So ist der Ärger vorprogrammiert.
