What it’s about. Der Archäologe George Hacker findet in Ägypten das Grab des uralten und unglaublich bösen Pharaos Habnubenors. Zur selben Zeit bekommt seine Tochter Susie von einer mysteriösen Unbekannten ein sonderbares Amulett geschenkt. Zurück in New York zeigt das Amulett auch schon seine unheimliche Wirkung: Der Geist des Pharaos ergreift Besitz von dem Mädchen und macht es zu einem willenlosen Killer, der in der Gestalt einer Schlange fortan alle ermordet, die das Geheimnis um das Amulett lüften wollen.
