What it’s about. Im bayerischen Dorf Schladerbach leben der Kobold Hatschipuh und seine Genossen, von deren Existenz nur Opa Reiter weiß. Als sich Bauunternehmer Lederer eine neue Villa erichten lässt, wird die unterirdische Siedlung der Kobolde zerstört und Opa Reiter sieht sich gezwungen, sie in der Scheune einzuquartieren. Doch auch dieses Domizil wird bald bedroht: Da sich der Hof nicht mehr lohnt, plant Vater Reiter, ihn zu verkaufen und in die Stadt zu ziehen...
