What it’s about. Eine nächtliche Autobahnfahrt mit ihrem Freund bringt die junge Shelby in eine mörderische Situation, als eine Frau vom vor ihnen fahrenden Truck auf ihr Auto springt. Doch die wahre Gefahr droht von ganz woanders... Tabitha soll bei ihren Cousins babysitten, doch in ihrem Schlafraum ist es nicht gerade angenehm, vor allem wegen einer lebensgroßen diabolischen Clownspuppe, die in einem Stuhl hockt.... Eine verschwundene Freundin macht Lisa große Sorgen, also sucht sie mit ihrem Freund die abgelegene Pension auf, in der ihre Freundin übernachtet haben soll. Aber der dort hausende Besitzer hütet ein mörderisches Geheimnis... ...und was sie alle drei nicht wissen, ist, daß der geisteskranke Mörder, der sich diese perfiden Pläne ausgedacht hat, mit ihnen allen in einen speziellen Verbindung steht...

How it landed. With an audience score of 5.7/10, Amusement has drawn a solid, mixed-to-positive response. It went on to earn $170.3K at the box office.
