Sleazy Rider poster

Released in 1973, Sleazy Rider is a krimi film directed by Roger Gentry, running about 60 minutes. “He treated women like garbage... and they loved him for it!” — that tagline sets the tone.

What it’s about. A biker gang seeks revenge on a sheriff and his family after their women are searched for drugs in a way that's not very orderly... or, uh, sanitary. An original X rating due to rampant nudity and sleaze kept this off of most rental shelves during the video revolution. All subsequent bootleg DVDs have been sourced from a very rare Dutch VHS release, which was the only known release of this film on home video.

Who’s in it. Sleazy Rider stars Jody Bishop as Fry, Roger Gentry as Sheriff Sam, Penny Boran as Barbie and Starlyn Simone as Biker Chick, among others.

How it landed. With an audience score of 4.0/10, Sleazy Rider has proved divisive with audiences.

If you liked it. Fans of Sleazy Rider tend to enjoy Die Verurteilten, Der Pate, Der Pate - Teil II and The Dark Knight.
