What it’s about. Die drei Freunde Paxton, Josh und Olli, die auf ihrer Rucksacktour durch Europa nur an Drogen, Sex und Party interessiert sind, bekommen von einem Unbekannten den Tipp, sich zu einer Herberge in der tiefsten Slowakei zu begeben, wo hübsche Frauen nur darauf warten würden, es mit ausländischen Männern zu tun. Ohne zu zögern, begeben sich die Jungs auf den Weg dorthin. Kaum angekommen, lernen sie auch schon ein paar Frauen kennen, mit denen sie zunächst Party machen und danach in die Kiste springen. Es scheint das Paradies auf Erden zu sein - bis Olli urplötzlich verschwindet...

How it landed. With an audience score of 5.9/10, Hostel has drawn a solid, mixed-to-positive response. It went on to earn $82M at the box office.
