What it’s about. Tore ist ein junger Jesus-Freak. Er führt ein gewaltloses Leben fest nach dem Motto „Liebe deinen Nächsten“. Eine Autopanne, die er scheinbar durch Jesus’ Beistand behebt, bringt ihn mit Familienvater Benno zusammen. Er lädt Tore für den Sommer in seine Gartenlaube ein. Zunächst fühlt sich Tore dort aufgehoben, doch das Familienidyll um Benno, seine Freundin Astrid und die 15-jährige Tochter Sanny trügt. Nach und nach treten Bennos sadistische Neigungen zum Vorschein, und Tores bedingungslose Nächstenliebe verlangt ihm alles ab: Benno wird zu Tores härtester Prüfung. Oder ist es umgekehrt?
