What it’s about. Die neunzehnjährige Charlotte kommt eines Abends dem Trunkenbold und Ex-Marine Wayne nach einer Kneipenschlägerei zur Hilfe. Charlotte und Wayne geben sich als Vater und Tochter aus und gaukeln Interesse an Bruder Billys Lehren vor, um heimlich Beweise zu sammeln. Die beiden stoßen in den Bergen bald auf ein Geheimnis, das sie an ihrem Verstand zweifeln lässt. Und Charlotte wird klar, welches grausige Schicksal ihre Schwester erlitten haben muss…
