What it’s about. Der 14jährige Danny hat sich in seine Lehrerin Peggy Noble verliebt, die will aber den Sportlehrer Roy heiraten. Dannys genialer Freund Lloyd hat indes einen Wachstumsbeschleuniger konstruiert. Danny steigt in die Maschine, verläßt sie als gutaussehender Twen und nähert sich sofort seiner Angebeteten. An seiner Schule wird er überdies irrtümlich für den neuen Rektor gehalten. Er nutzt die Situation, krempelt den ganzen Betrieb um, und Peggy verliebt sich in ihn. Roy entdeckt, daß Danny nicht der erwartete Rektor ist, doch bevor er entlarvt werden kann, macht er in Lloyds Maschine seinen Alterssprung rückgängig - und Peggy macht es ihm nach.
