What it’s about. 30.000 Kilometer vom Mond entfernt. Ein Sonnenwind zerstört Teile des Raumschiffs, mit dem die koreanische Raumfahrtbehörde als weltweit zweite Nation Menschen auf den Erdtrabanten bringen wollte. Doch das ist nicht alles: Zweidrittel der Besatzung ist tot und der junge Astronaut Hwang Sun-woo auf sich allein gestellt. Die Atemluft wird knapp, die Temperatur sinkt ins Unerträgliche und immer wieder bricht das Signal zur Bodenstation ab. Dort setzt Flugleiter Dr. Kim Jae-gook alles daran, Hwang zu retten. Die einzige Institution, die wirklich helfen könnte, lässt ihn allerdings abblitzen: die NASA.
