What it’s about. Im Jahr 1952 startete die dänische Regierung ein menschenverachtendes „Experiment“ zur Stabilisierung ihres Protektorates Grönland: Eine Gruppe grönländischer Kinder, die man kurz zuvor ihren leiblichen Eltern entrissen hatte, dann nach Dänemark befördert und in dänischen Familien erzogen hatte, wurde nun in ihre ursprüngliche Heimat zurückgebracht, wo sie mit ihrem dänischen Hintergrund zur „Elite“ Grönlands herangebildet werden sollte. Unter dem Motto „Ein Land – ein Volk – eine Sprache“ richtete man eigens ein Kinderheim ein, in dem den Auserwählten dänische Werte vermittelt werden sollten.
