Released in 2012, Comedown is a thriller and horror film directed by Menhaj Huda, running about 90 minutes. “It's Fun Getting High...But The Comedown Is A Killer.” — that tagline sets the tone.

What it’s about. Dunkel und bedrohlich überragt der Wohnblock Mercy Point das Stadtviertel, in dem Lloyd und seine Freunde wohnen. Wo sie als Kinder zu Hause waren, gähnen heute nur noch blinde Fenster und bröckelt der Putz. Nun führt ein Geld und Spaß verheißender Deal die Teenager für eine Nacht in das Gebäude zurück: Für einen Piratensender sollen sie im obersten Stockwerk eine neue Antenne installieren. Allerdings steht Mercy Point nicht völlig leer. Ein letzter Mieter hat sich hier verschanzt und ist übel gelaunt von der lautstarken Störung. Mit sachgemäß scharfem Werkzeug und allerlei monströsen Fallen plant der Psychopath, das unverschämte Gesindel schnell wieder los zu werden. Leider sind die Kids zunächst viel zu sehr mit sich beschäftigt, als dass sie die Gefahr erkennen. Aber als der Groschen endlich fällt, setzen sie sich tapfer zur Wehr ...
