What it’s about. Die kleine vorstädtische Siedlung Sorgenfri macht ihrem Namen alle Ehre – Ruhe und Frieden sind hier an der Tagesordnung, der Alltag ist beschaulich und die meisten Menschen ziemlich glücklich. Als ein unbekannter Virus über die Bewohner hereinbricht, nimmt die Harmonie allerdings ein jähes Ende. Die unheimliche Krankheit macht vor nichts Halt und innerhalb kürzester Zeit ist das halbe Städtchen infiziert. Um die Erkrankten, die wie Zombies übereinander herfallen und sich nicht mehr an Gesetze halten, im Zaum zu halten, werden ihre Häuser hermetisch abgeriegelt und das Dorf evakuiert. Die Zwangsquarantäne ist allerdings noch die humanste Maßnahme, die von den gesunden Bewohnern verhängt wird. Um weitere Erkrankungen zu verhindern, wird sogar über Leichen gegangen – und zwar im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes…
