What it’s about. Aziza (Ceci Schmitz-Chuh) hat in Berlin-Kreuzberg plötzlich einen neuen Mitbewohner: den Mittzwanziger Zach (Elliott McKee). Azizas Mutter (Viviane Bartsch) hatte das Zimmer neu vermietet, weil die Tochter ursprünglich in Portugal ein Praktikum machen wollte. Doch der Plan ist geplatzt, das Berliner Leben nun ziemlich eng – zumal der neue Wohnpartner nicht weiß, wie lange er bleiben wird. Und Aziza hat noch ein weiteres Problem: Sie fühlt sich in Kreuzberg einfach nicht mehr richtig wohl. Die vielen hippen Menschen um sie herum, die alle nach Auszeit suchen, befremden die junge Frau. Zumal auch ihr Verhältnis zur Mutter wenig stetig ist, bestimmt vom Wechsel aus Eintracht und Streit. Als Aziza dann Blanche (Seyneb Saleh) trifft, ist das der Beginn eines destruktiven Lebensstils. Ein Auto brennt und die Mutter weiß nicht mehr, was mit ihrer Tochter los ist…
