What it’s about. Nach der Ermordung ihres Bruders kehrt die junge Berliner Cellistin Janne Flecker in ihre Cuxhavener Heimat zurück. Eriks Tod veranlasst sie, Fragen zu stellen, die sie schon lange ignoriert hat. Allerdings entdeckt sie mehr Antworten, als ihr lieb sind: Der Adoptivvater, ein Patriarch der alten Schule, ist keineswegs das Vorbild, für das sie ihn immer gehalten hat, und auch den geliebten Bruder hat sie offenbar idealisiert. Als Janne weiterforscht, gerät sie selbst ins Lebensgefahr.
