What it’s about. Seinen Neuanfang in der kanadischen Wildnis hat sich der 60-jährige Harry Stockowski komplett anders vorgestellt. Statt auf einer einsamen Insel die langersehnte Ruhe zu finden, erwartet ihn dort jemand alles andere als freundlich. Die raubeinige Susan behauptet, die Besitzerin des Eilandes zu sein, und versucht, den unerwünschten Neuankömmling mit der Flinte zu verjagen. Ein Kampf um die Blockhütte beginnt, bei dem der deutsche Aussteiger gewaltig einstecken muss. So leicht gibt Harry jedoch nicht auf – hat er die Insel mitsamt Hütte vor Jahren doch rechtmäßig erworben und zu seinem früheren Leben alle Brücken abgebrochen. Auch für Susan ist das Eiland ein letzter Zufluchtsort.
