What it’s about. Die Geschichte handelt von dem jungen Mann Keiichirou, der seine Eltern und seine jüngere Schwester bei einem Autounfall verloren hat, für den er sich selbst die Schuld gibt. An einem regnerischen Tag stellt er sich zufällig an einem alten Schrein unter. Dort bemerkt er ein kleines Mädchen, das auf einem Stuhl sitzt, der von Abfall umgeben ist. Sie ist ein defekter Android, den jemand zurückgelassen hat und so bringt Keiichiro das Mädchen zu einer Androidenwerkstatt, wo man ihm sagt, dass sie nicht wiederherstellbar wäre, also legt er sie schweren Herzens vorläufig in sein Badezimmer. Am nächsten Morgen steht sie jedoch unverhofft in seiner Küche und bereitet ihm Frühstück zu. Da sie keinen Namen hat, nennt er sie Flower und so beginnt ihr gemeinsames Zusammenleben...
