What it’s about. Es ist eine geschichtliche Tatsache, daß General McArthur 1942 General Wainwright befahl, 16 Millionen Dollar in Silberpesos in die Bucht von Manila zu schütten um zu verhindern, daß die japanische Invasionsarmee das Silber verwenden konnte. Die Japaner entdecken die Pesos und verwenden amerikanische Kriegsgefangene, um sie zu bergen. Die Kriegsgefangenen schaffen, zusammen mit philippinischen Guerillas, die Pesos von der Insel, als dies von den Japanern entdeckt wird, sprengen die amerikanischen Kriegsgefangenen - in dem Bewußtsein, daß sie ihrem Schicksal nicht entgehen können - sich selbst und ihre Feinde in die Luft. Mit viel Action, Massenluftgefechten, Panzer- und Infanterieschlachten beginnt dieser Film - und endet in einem Inferno...
