What it’s about. Gleich ihr erster Auftrag führt die CIA-Undercoveragentin Kris Fairchild in die indonesische Hauptstadt Jakarta. Getarnt als biedere Bankangestellte soll sie dort herausfinden, über welche Kanäle die Bosse des mächtigsten asiatischen Gangstersyndikats ihr Drogengeld waschen. Dabei lernt sie den jungen Tommy Andrews kennen, der von den schmutzigen Geschäften seines Vaters, Bankdirektor Gerald Andrews, nichts zu wissen scheint. Während Tommy zufällig auf Kris’ alten Partner Preston Michaels trifft, der ihm ein paar Nachhilfestunden im Kickboxen gibt, wird Kris klar, dass sie allein machtlos ist. Sie bittet Preston um Hilfe, doch der lehnt zunächst ab. Erst als Tommys Vater ermordet wird, ist er bereit, Kris und Tommy zu unterstützen. Doch dann überschlagen sich plötzlich die Ereignisse, und Kris dämmert nach und nach, welche Rolle Tommy in dieser Geschichte spielt.
