What it’s about. Eine in England lebende verkrüppelte Amerikanerin terrorisiert in ihrer Selbstbezogenheit und Verbitterung ihren Sohn, wozu sie ihre Katzen einsetzt. Als der Herangewachsene durch die Boshaftigkeit der Mutter die geliebte Frau und ihr gemeinsames Kind verliert, gerät er an den Rand des Wahnsinns. Erst als er das Geheimnis ihrer wahren Geschichte und damit die Mutter als Mörderin entlarvt, tötet er sie, indem er sie wie einst eine der Katzen in Milch ertränkt. Ein abstruses, an den Haaren herbei gezogenes Psycho-Melodram, das vor allem an den abwegigen Drehbucheinfällen krankt.
