What it’s about. Der US-Armee-Captain Doug Matthews wird Zeuge eines irakischen Massakers in einem Kurdendorf. In der folgenden Auseinandersetzung verletzt Doug den Diensthabenden Col. Dalal. Fünf Jahre später: Aus Rache verweigert Dalal Dougs Bruder die Ausreise aus dem Irak. Offizielle Stellen fühlen sich machtlos, also macht sich Doug auf eigene Faust auf den Weg.
