What it’s about. Dean Cage, ehemaliger Soldat für Sondereinsätze, wird mit einem Agenten der CIA verwechselt. Als Cage an dessen Stelle entführt wird, bekommt er eine bewusstseinskontrollierende Droge eingeflößt, die ihn hilflos der Manipulation durch fremde Gedanken ausliefert. Dean flieht und macht sich auf die verzweifelte Suche nach einem Gegenmittel. Zuerst muss er jedoch seine Feinde, seine inneren Dämonen und die Illusionen seines durch Drogen beeinflussten Zustands besiegen – sonst wird er den Tag nicht überleben.
