What it’s about. Der bescheidene Farmer Dan Evans (Van Heflin) wird zusammen mit seinen Söhnen Zeuge, wie bei einem Postkutschenüberfall der Räuberbandenboss Ben Wade (Glenn Ford) eiskalt den Kutscher erschießt.
