What it’s about. Zwei Fischer begeben sich in einem verschlafenen Nest an der brasilianischen Küste auf einen Trip, um jede Menge Beute zu fangen. Dabei werden sie von einem merkwürdigen Wesen angegriffen. Als sie mehr oder weniger wohlbehalten zurückkehren, ahnen sie nicht, dass alle gefangenen Fische verseucht sind. Denn jeder der daraufhin etwas von dem Fang verzehrt, verwandelt sich in ein blutrünstiges Monster... mit großem Appetit auf Menschenfleisch. Nach und nach mutieren immer mehr Bewohner des Dorfes zu Zombies. Ebenfalls betroffen sind die Gäste des örtlichen Bordells, das eine riesige Ladung an Fisch für ihre Gäste und Mitarbeiter bestellt hat. Doch liegt es nun an dem verzehrten Fisch oder doch eher an dem okkulten Buch, das dem vielleicht gar nicht so dummen Dorftrottel der Stadt gehört?
