Zwischen Bergen und Weideland, Torfgräben und Kuhstall soll das schweigsame Mädchen endlich erwachsener werden. In der rauen Landschaft kündigen sich jedoch bald tragische Ereignisse an, als die Tochter des Bauernpaares unvermittelt erscheint. Der Saisonarbeiter, mit dem Sól das Zimmer teilen muss, ist nett, füllt aber Nacht für Nacht seine Notizbücher wie ein Getriebener.
