What it’s about. Eine Nonne wurde in einem abgelegenen italienischen Benediktinerinnen-Kloster brutal ermordet. Kommissar David Segre aus Rom nimmt die Ermittlungen in dem Kloster auf, das von Äbtissin Michela mit eiserner Hand geführt wird. Da geschieht ein zweiter Mord. Schnell gerät Pater Zeffirini, Prior des benachbarten Männer-Klosters und Beichtvater der Benediktinerinnen in Verdacht, der der Onkel eines der Opfer war. Doch dann macht Zeffirini eine erschütternde Entdeckung und wird selbst Ziel eines Mordanschlags.
