What it’s about. Im Partom Hotel, welches kurz vor der Eröffnung steht, findet die Wahl zur Miss Galaxy 1995 statt. Die Moderation übernimmt die karatekundige Schauspielerin Sharon Bell. Doch eine Horde von Terroristen tötet das Wachpersonal und nimmt die Kandidatinnen als Geiseln, nachdem ihr Anführer Brice die Gewinnerin der Wahl, Miss Frankreich, erschießt und das Publikum aus dem Hotel flieht. Die Terroristen riegeln das Gebäude gegen die ankommende Polizei ab und verlangen als Lösegeld 10 Millionen Dollar in Diamanten. Diese soll Senator Wilson, der Vater von "Miss USA" Candy Wilson (Polly Shannon), aufbringen. Shannon kann den Geiselnehmern entfliehen und nimmt den Kampf auf.
