What it’s about. Als der Londoner Straßenmusiker Barney ein baufälliges kleines Haus in einer heruntergekommenen spanischen Ortschaft erbt, will er es sofort verkaufen und direkt wieder nach Hause zurückkehren. Möglichst bevor die Einwohner herausfinden, dass er ausgerechnet der Sohn des Mannes ist, der das Dorf in den Ruin getrieben hat. Aber bevor er sein ungeliebtes Erbe loswerden kann, benötigt Barney Geld, um es zu renovieren. Zusammen mit der ortsansässigen Musikerin Paloma - und trotz der Einwände ihres Ex-Freundes - plant er das Comeback der Dorfband, um das Preisgeld eines kommenden Musik-Wettbewerbs zu gewinnen. Doch plötzlich kommt ans Licht, wessen Sohn Barney tatsächlich ist.
