What it’s about. Joan Burrows geriet als Teenagerin in die Fänge des Psychopathen Bishop. Dieser gab seinen Opfern die perfide Wahl, entweder selbst zu Tode gefoltert zu werden oder dem Mord an einem weiteren Gefangenen zuzustimmen. Joan konnte sich damals befreien und tötete Bishop. Seine Mordserie schien damit beendet und Joan wurde zu einer Lokal-Heldin. Überwunden hat sie dieses Trauma jedoch nie…16 Jahre nach ihrer Tortur kehrt Joan nach Ovid zurück, um dabei zu sein, wenn ihre Nichte Olympia zur „Prom Queen“ gekürt wird. Kurz nach ihrer Ankunft beginnt erneut eine Serie von grausamen Morden. Wieder sind Teenager die Opfer, vor allem Freunde von Joans Nichte werden wahllos verschleppt und getötet.
