What it’s about. Sich mitternachts allein im Wald aufzuhalten ist unheimlich genug. Für Kenji beginnt der Horror aber erst, als er unfreiwillig mit ansieht, wie eine Hexe den Ushikoku-Zauber wirken will. Zu Kenjis Unglück kann der Zauber aber nicht in Kraft treten, wenn es Zeugen bei dem Ritual gegeben hat – es sei denn, der Zeuge stirbt. Kenji flüchtet. Doch er muss nicht nur feststellen, dass sich die Hexe als sehr hartnäckig erweist, sondern auch, dass der Zauber eine unheimliche Macht über seine Mitmenschen hat, die sich nach und nach gegen ihn wenden…
