What it’s about. Für das kommende Schuljahr zieht eine Gruppe von College-Studenten in ein nicht auf dem Campus liegendes Haus in Fall River, Massachusetts. Dabei ahnen Michael, Taryn, Nikki, Jenna und Scott nicht, was sich dort einst vor langer Zeit abgespielt hat, als Diana sie dort empfängt und ihnen alles zeigt: Am 4. August 1892 ermordete Lizzie Borden dort ihre Eltern. Das Haus ist in der Gegend seither berühmt-berüchtigt, soll der Geist der Mörderin doch jedes Jahr aufs Neue wieder auf der Bildfläche erscheinen und den Bewohnern nicht nur einen Schrecken einjagen. Das grausame Ereignis jährt sich bald wieder und schon bald müssen die Neuankömmlinge feststellen, dass an der lokalen Legende etwas dran ist.
