Released in 2009, Phobia 2 is a thriller and horror film directed by Banjong Pisanthanakun, running about 125 minutes. “Don't be surprised if you are addicted to fear.” — that tagline sets the tone.

What it’s about. NOVICE: Von seiner Mutter in einem Kloster versteckt, erwartet einen kriminellen Jugendlichen der pure Terror. Denn die Geister sind alles andere als gnädig. WARD: Ein junger Mann bekommt im Krankenhaus einen zwar komatösen, aber keinesfalls friedlichen Zimmergenossen. Schon bald wird es unheimlich. BACKPACKERS: Ein japanisches Paar Rucksacktouristen wird im thailändischen Hinterland als Anhalter von zwei hilfsbereiten Truckern mitgenommen. Leider schlummert, hinten auf der Ladefläche, eine geradezu apokalyptische Ladung. SALVAGE: Ihr skrupelloser Ehrgeiz, hat für eine Gebrauchtwagen-Händlerin unangenehme Folgen, als sie eines Nachts die Geister der Unfallopfer auf ihrem Autohof heimsuchen. IN THE END: Am Set eines Horrorfilms bricht das blanke Chaos aus. Könnte es sein, dass eine Darstellerin nicht nur einen Geist spielt, sondern auch tatsächlich einer ist?

How it landed. With an audience score of 6.1/10, Phobia 2 has drawn a solid, mixed-to-positive response. It went on to earn $5M at the box office.
