What it’s about. Nach einem schweren Unfall ist Giuseppe arbeitsunfähig. Sein Sohn Antò träumt davon, Archäologe zu werden und hält das Glasauge seines Vaters für ein Zeichen seiner Superkräfte. Sie sind nur noch zu zweit, seit ihre geliebte Frau und Mutter Angela bei der Arbeit auf dem Feld zusammenbrach und starb. Jetzt haben sie auch noch ihr Haus verloren und sind in einer Zeltstadt mit anderen Saisonarbeitern untergekommen. Trotz alledem bringt Giuseppe immer noch die Kraft auf, seinen Sohn jeden Abend zu umarmen und ihm eine Geschichte zu erzählen.
