What it’s about. Im italienischen Restaurant Scoppa in New York laufen die Geschäfte so schlecht, dass Betreiber Andy bereit ist, gefährliche Maßnahmen zu ergreifen. In seinem Keller lauert ein mächtiger Dämon, der dem verzweifelten Lokalbesitzer einen Deal vorschlägt. Mit seinen finsteren Kräften kann das diabolische Wesen Gäste ins Restaurant locken. Doch im Gegenzug erwartet der Dämon, dass ihm Andy einen Teil der neu gewonnenen Kundschaft zum Fraß vorwirft. Andy willigt ein und zunächst läuft alles prima: Das Geschäft floriert und sein teuflischer Mäzen bekommt regelmäßig frische Opfer. Doch eine Küchenhilfe merkt bald, dass etwas nicht stimmt und der bevorstehende Besuch des Gesundheitsamts droht, das dunkle Geheimnis des Restaurants aufzudecken. Bevor es dazu kommt, möchte der Dämon aber noch einmal richtig schön schlemmen. Andy lädt deshalb zu einem letzten großen Festmahl ein, bei dem die Gäste selbst die Delikatesse des Abends sind...
