What it’s about. Nach Jahren Abwesenheit kehrt Joe Starling auf die Ranch seiner Eltern zurück, um festzustellen, daß der reiche Großfarmer Overstreet ein Auge auf den Besitz geworfen hat. Sehr zum Unwillen seiner aktuellen Lebensgefährtin keimt Joes alte Liebe zu Overstreets schöner Tochter Ellen wieder auf, und schließlich muß er sogar erfahren, daß er der Vater von Ellens Tochter ist. Joes Existenz gerät in eine schwere Krise, doch mit Hilfe von Overstreets verständnisvollem Schwiegersohn gelingt schließlich die Aussöhnung der Familien.
