What it’s about. Der vom Dienst suspendierte Polizist Jack Newland findet nach vielen abgelehnten Bewerbungen endlich wieder einen Job in Las Vegas. Zusammen mit dem Detective Hilts führt sie ihr erster gemeinsamer Fall in die Villa des vermißten Buchhalters Arden Cook. Jack findet im Haus Blutspuren und vermutet folgerichtig, daß sie es mit einem Mord zu tun haben.
