Caine erinnert sich zurück an die Zeit, als er für Martel den Film "Mädchen und Koffer" drehte und mit seiner Hauptdarstellerin Lena eine Affäre begann. Der Anfang einer komplizierten Tragödie, denn Lena war mit Martel liiert. Und der ist blind vor Eifersucht.
